MEET your instructor

Julien Kianmanesh Rad, also known as JK The Sage, is a classically trained pianist, composer, and educator from Paris, now based in Los Angeles.
He studied classical piano at the Conservatoire Régional de Rueil-Malmaison, later expanding into jazz, film scoring, and production. Alongside his formal studies, Julien also trained in professional academies in both France and the U.S.As a composer and touring artist, he has performed across Europe and the U.S., and collaborated with internationally recognized artists including Barbara Pravi, Rema, and Yseult. His music has been released with labels like Sony Latin, Universal, Chillhop, and featured in ads, short films, and digital campaigns.With over 7 years of teaching experience, and over 100+ students, Julien brings a warm, intuitive, and structured approach to his lessons — blending strong foundations with creativity and curiosity. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for auditions or advanced studies, his goal is to help students grow with curioosty, passion and artistic freedom.
